A converted garage that combines gaming, entertainment, and home bar design in one functional space. The room features an all-black interior with laminate flooring, soundproof insulation, and French doors that open into the garden. Copper sockets, lighting, and switches add a refined industrial touch.

The setup includes a 65-inch TV with a connected sound system and wall-mounted touchscreen for audio and karaoke control. A collection of retro and modern consoles spans from the Sega Mega Drive and Game Boy to the PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. A full-size Pac-Man themed arcade cabinet with over 7,000 games anchors the gaming area.

The bar section is fully equipped with optics, premium spirits, mixers, and bar essentials, including a blender, ice bucket, cocktail shaker, knives, creamer, and a coffee machine. A mini fridge and slushie machine complete the setup for drinks and refreshments.

Movie memorabilia and collectibles add personality, including a Back to the Future LEGO DeLorean, T-800 skull 1:1 model, Star Wars posters, and Iron Man LEGO wall art. Custom neon signage, tin wall art, and bottle-cap décor enhance the aesthetic. A sofa bed offers flexibility for guests, and a portable heater keeps the space comfortable year-round.

Helpful tips & advice

Creating the Man cave was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I’d recommend creating your own space to anyone, somewhere that’s completely yours, where you can switch off and enjoy your own space.
